1) Four Elements

Dialogue with Fire

Beyond the gate of triangle

Lies the fundamental fire

Since the beginning of time

Held the source of will

Oh, eternal flame

Lit the passion in every human

Oh, eternal flame

Purity all the anger that prevail on earth

Oh, human

The mortal one

What makes you think that you are separate from me

What makes you think that I am separate from you

You have never left me

As I have never left you

And, your flame is within me

As my flame is within you

I am all fire

I am all will

I am one

Dialogue with Water

Beyond the gate of pentagon

Lies the fundamental ocean

Since the beginning of time

Held the source of emotion

Oh, eternal water

Allow love to flow in every human

Oh, eternal water

Wash away all the sorrows into earth

Oh, human

The mortal one

What makes you think that you are separate from me

What makes you think that I am separate from you

You have never left me

As I have never left you

And, you flow within me

As I flow within you

I am all water

I am all emotion

I am one

Dialogue with Air

Beyond the gate of square

Blows the fundamental wind

Since the beginning of time

Held the source of intellect

Oh, eternal wind

Bring hope to every human

Oh, eternal wind

Transform all the hardship into joy

Oh, human

The mortal one

What makes you think that you are separate from me

What makes you think that I am separate from you

You have never left me

As I have never left you

And, you blow within me

As I blow within you

I am all air

I am all mind

I am one

Dialogue with Earth

Beyond the gate of pentagram

Lies the fundamental crystal

Since the beginning of time

Held the source of consciousness

Oh, eternal stone

Bring wisdom to all humans

Oh, eternal stone

Ground all the miseries into earth

Oh, human

The mortal one

What makes you think that you are separate from me

What makes you think that I am separate from you

You have never left me

As I have never left you

And, you are within me

As I am within you

I am all earth

I am consciousness

I am one

Epilogue

Oh, earth

Now I am one with all four elements

But, the sorrow still remains in my heart

Sorrow also lives in my heart

If sorrow also lives in your heart

Why would I be one with you?

I would rather feel nothing

Then, you would miss all the beauties on earth

Oh, earth

My eternal mother

Now I feel your pain

Much deeper pain that I have ever known

But, I am also in peace

Now you are truly one with me

As I am one with you.

2) Autumn Stream

Oh, the autumn stream

Whirl up before me

Splash the orange and yellow

Absorbed from the trees

A fleeting moment of my leep

In almost unity with the sun

1) Intolerance

Part I

“Beyond the gate of light and darkness

There lies a land of eternity,” says an wise old man

“The land that houses the perfect beauty

And the land that houses the ultimate harmony

The land that does not know the word of suffering”

“Have we ever lived in such a place?”

A young man asks

Old man says, “Indeed we did, my child”

The young man says, “Then, why did we have to leave that place?”

Old man says, “My child, we have never left that place.

We just forgot that it is our true home.”

The young man says, “Then how can we get back to that place?”

The old man says,  “Just close your eyes, breathe in deeply and trust your gut.

The land of eternity is beyond the mist you see.”

Young man says, “All I see is the mist.

All I hear is the scream of those who suffer.

And, all I know is anger, greed, betrayal, and war.

That’s the reality of this world.

Utopia is an illusion.”

Old man says, “The world you see is the illusion.  The true world is in ever-lasting harmony.  Just listen in your heart.”

Then, the old man disappeared.

Young man said, “Old man!  You are a liar.  You are a liar.

YOU ARE A LIAR!”

Part II

Young man said,

“Below the gate of light and darkness

I saw the chaos

Polluted air

Contaminated soil

And stripped mountain top

What’s happened to this planet?

Can’t you see the tears of the earth?

I cannot forgive anyone who makes our mother cry

Below the gate of light and darkness

I saw exploitations

Exploitation of weaker ones

Exploitation of disadvantaged ones

And abuse of authority

What’s happened to the promise of utopia?

Can’t you hear the lament of the sky?

I will punish everyone who makes our father cry

Below the gate of light and darkness

I saw the intolerance

Fear of outsiders

Hatred against those who are different

And war against each other

What’s happened to the goodness of human soul?

Can’t you smell the gun powder against the human race?

I will fight against all the intolerance that prevails on earth”

Part III

 Old man said,

As I walked through a dark misty field

I felt the tears that surrounded me

It was the tear of earth

And the tears of warriors

The warriors who fight against the destruction of earth

Oh, warriors, the noble souls

You are the precious ones

Too precious to be drown in the flood of tears

So remember that you are not alone

Mother earth is always with you

And, embracing you in her own tears

Walking across the numerous hills

I heard the roaming thunder

It was the pain of exploited souls

And the scream of those who fight against exploitation

Oh, warriors, the beautiful souls

You are the precious ones

Too precious to lose in this endless agony

So remember that you are not alone

Father sky is watching you

And, casting the ray of protection

Walking across the five continents

I saw intolerance and deaths

They were the death caused by fear

And the deaths caused by hatred

Oh, warriors of peace, the knights of justice

You are the precious ones

Too precious to be burned in the flame of anger

So remember to transform your fire

From fire into the light of love

And, your songs will heal the wounded planet”

After a long silence, the young man said,

“Now, I have replaced my anger with the light of love.

But, the sorrow still remains in my heart.”

Old man said, “Sorrow also lives in my heart.”

Young man said, “If sorrow also lives in your heart, where can I find the peace?”

Old man said, “Just listen to your heart.  And, share the pain with the earth.”

Young man said, “Now, I feel deeper pain.

Much deeper pain than I have ever known.

But, I am also in peace.”

2) Wheel of Agony, Wheel of Prayer

As the wheel of life turns around

So does the agony on earth

As the fear turns into anger

The anger turns into hatred

As the hatred turns into fight

The battle results in despair

Misery is another name for victory

And there is no utopia beyond the hills

As we call upon the healing

We sense the tears of earth

3) Ancient City

Standing in the ancient city

I only hear the wind going by

Once upon a time

There was a war

In the middle of desert sunshine

Standing in the ancient city

Now I only hear the wind going by

The wind tells me that the brave men died

In the middle of desert sunshine

Standing in the ancient city

I only hear the wind going by

The wind tells me that the women’s lullaby disappeared

Into the sound of wind

In the middle of desert sunshine

Standing in the ancient city

Now I only hear the wind going by

The wind brings the dreams of parents

To the children who do not remember their fathers and mothers

In the middle of desert sunshine

Standing in the ancient city

I only hear the wind going by

Oh wind, bring the song of sorrows back to the ocean

In the middle of desert sunshine

Standing in the ancient city

Tears have dried up in the wind

But, the song of sorrows is haunting in my ears

And, someone tells me that I am only hearing the wind going by

4) Dialogue

Scene 1

Human: I am chained.

Voice: You put that chain around yourself.

Human: What do you mean?

Voice: Greed of human race is the origin of chain.

Human: You are a liar.

Voice: Your anger will strengthen the chain.

Human: I don’t want to be trapped in here.

Voice: Your fear will lengthen the chain.

Human: I want freedom!

Voice: You are safe in here.

Human: I am lonely.

Voice: Everyone is lonely.

Human: I want to see the world.

Voice: The world is ending.

Human: No!  I won’t accept such a scenario. I will fight against the chain!

Scene 2

Voice: Ah!  So, you finally gave up?

Human: I cannot see the enemy any more.

Voice: Who were your enemies?

Human: I don’t know.

Voice: Did you know them in the first place?

Human: I don’t know.

Scene 3

Voice: So, what do you want?

Human: The world without a chain.

Voice: And, what does it mean?

Human: The world in which everyone knows that we are all connected each other without chains.

Voice: And, what connects humans each other when there is no chain?

Human: Trust.

Voice: How could it be possible?

Human: I don’t know.

Voice: Is there anything that you trust?

Human: I don’t know.

Scene 4

Voice: So, do you have the answer?

Human:

There is not much that I trust.

But, I can trust that birds will come back in spring and dance around the trees.

I can trust that morning dew drops will shine on the tree leaves when I walk in the forest.

I can trust that the snow melted down from the mountain top will eventually marry the ocean.

And, I can trust that the rising sun that comes out of the horizon will dye the ridge’s shoulder in purple,   tomorrow, once again.
